Thanks for posting this! Does anybody know if this is the Vistaliners model or entirely new? I can't wait to fly this classic it'll fit beautifully into my vintage Delta fleet (DC-9, 742, 732, etc...)

Hello,

During August of this year we, like many others, were saddened by Erick CANTU's announcement to retire from FS development.Erick's parting statement to the FS community .... posted on the FS.COM forum .... consented to other FS groups hosting, and even further developing, his original products if they desired .... "provided that everything remained ABSOLUTELY FREE and that respect prevailed". At this time Source files for many of his original FS productions were then distributed by Erick to various parties .... including HJG. Other groups/individuals also keen to promote Erick's fine work have more recently acquired these same sources publicly too, so, the future success of VISTALINERS products for FS seems assured.By similar "consent" Erick's examples work has been hosted by HJG over the past 2 years now .... in the form of his VISTALINERS B727's, however, these aircraft are no longer the sole example of his fine work currently hosted by us .... being joined, today, by another of his superb models .... in the form of the L1011 TRISTAR which also now launches HJG into a new era of classic/historic widebody jetliners for FS.Thanks to Erick CANTU .... we are very pleased to offer the L1011 TRISTAR represented by each the following 9 variations of this fabulous aircraft ....- L-1011 TRISTAR "Ship One 1970"- L-1011 TRISTAR 1- L-1011 TRISTAR 1(F) freighter- L-1011 TRISTAR 50- L-1011 TRISTAR 100- L-1011 TRISTAR 100(F) freighter- L-1011 TRISTAR 200- L-1011 TRISTAR 200(F) freighter- L-1011 TRISTAR 250Each of the above L1011 versions are seperate aircraft base pack files .... featuring the most recent version of Erick's BETA model and revised/improved FDE. Load configuration data for each of the freighter versions differs from that of the PAX aircraft. Each of the represented TRISTAR versions also differ in respect of both operating weight and/or powerplant .... thanks to the efforts of Mike MONCE. Each of these aircraft base pack files is both FS2004 and FSX compatible.

It seems it is still the beta model by Erick Cantu with a modified panel and new sounds plus new fde I believe, and of course some new paints. crazy part about this is that over at freeskyproject there working on the same model but rebuilding and adding allot of stuff it which will make it even better model and finally completing it http://www.freeskyproject.com/topic/41962-l-1011-tristar/ maybe the guys at hjg have no idea about this model being worked on?

They did not know in factQuote Tony Madge
No Jim we only found out about the Pro-sky revision last week, our project has been in the making for a couple of months now. The FDE's and panels are all set up nicely so I am sure you will be happy
But what does this have changed if they had known ?And maybe the guys from Freeskyproject had no idea this model was being worked by HJG .. :( Now .. I can't wait for the Freeskyproject release More we are ... more fun :( Regards.bye.gifGus.
