The poor developers will never get it right. We yell and scream for more detail and accuracy. But when they figure out how to give it to us we complain because it beats our system down.I'm not sure what you guys are experiencing, but in FS2002 with most of the sliders shoved right (except water and ATC) i get a flyable rate(both the Airbus 330 and 757 series) on my antiquated Dell XPS-T500(mhz) loaded up with 640mb of RAM and a GeFOrce 2 Ultra (64mb). All the textures show up both day and night.Now if I throw either into a fully loaded major airport with tons of scenery and AI traffic it does bring the system to its knees -- but that is to be expected. So I'm very careful where I fly and if necessary shove the sliders left while landing or taking off. It's called compensating for the conditions. Hi thereI think its the videacard. The model uses normal textures, same as lets say the ifDG 767 but than even less files. Also the polygons count is lower than most other planes. She should be very good on frames, so best i think is to get latest drivers and play with FS settings. I am not an expert for videocards so i dont know if thats the problem. Maybe you can try to use DXT3 textures, might help but not sure.

What liveries are you using. I am going to try EL AL for a change. I think I will do a flight out of Ben Gurion Intl with it. I hope it is fine. I also have a Geforce 3 Ti-500 so I will report back to see if I have problems to. I hope not but if I am I guess I will join the club.

I didn't install the effects for the lighting yet so that is next. So Far so good though. I flew it around Televiv Intl and out into the desert. The plane is a beauty. I do somehat question if the engines should run at 85-90n Power though as I am going Mach .78 to .82. The takeoff rate of speed seemed rather low with 15 degrees of flaps. I perhaps should read the manuel. Can anyone verify if this is realistic in the 757 or should it be at 60-70n Power? I know this doesn't pertain to the thread but I thought I would ask. As far as Textures not loading, it does it just slightly but it always loads and it is just a matter of seconds.
