October 26, 200322 yr Has anyone else had problems with the Posky 757-200 textures not completely loading every time you switch views? If I am in cockpit view and switch to spot view sometimes the right side textures or the right side wing textures don't load. I had the same problem on the ground at dusk when the left side textures loaded but the right side textures and effects did not load. Reloading the aircraft fixes the problem. I am using a GeForce3 Ti500 video card. Thanks, Bob.
October 26, 200322 yr Hi, I also experienced this problem. I usualy press the "save game" key (;) and press cancel and the problem go away. But it can be quite annoying if I have to do this quite frequently in one flight. I have P4 3Ghz, 1GB of RAM, and Radeon 9800 Pro. I also experienced this problem with MelJet 777 and Posky A330v2.japangg
October 26, 200322 yr Do they not load at all or just take a loooooooooong time to load? Mine take a long time to load and I have a VERY fast and well tweaked machine. Some of the heaviest POSKY and default textures made have loaded fast, but IFDG and these POSKY 757's seem to be VERY intense. If you have a slower machine, I highly suggest turning down the settings under display options for aircraft, and see if that helps.
October 26, 200322 yr They don't load at all after switching views. The left side loads but not the right side. The Posky 757 is the only plane (and I have many) that this occurs with. Thanks, regards, Bob.
October 26, 200322 yr i had a bit of a wait loading the textures for them...but then i dropped my game res down to 1024x768, they loaded instantaniously..
October 26, 200322 yr Hi BobYou've hit the hail on the head!I'm having the EXACT same problems as yourself, and I'm also using a GF3 Ti 500 (Leadtek Winfast). The textures on the right handside of the fuselage and night effects don't also load. I loaded up this 757 with London Gatwick 2004, and EVERYTHING goes blured (buildings, ground, the LOT), but the a/c textures (the visible ones that is) remain crisp. ** The Posky A330 and 757 are the only a/c which cause these problems **I then relocated my a/c to a grass strip in the middle of no where, with my scenery settings set to minimum, and a/c visuals/effects set to high, this time on the MY TRAVEL 757, all the textures load on both sides of the fuselage, but the night time effects didn't load on one side.I've been having problems with the Posky A330 causing blury problems, exact to the 757.What ever the Posky team have done, they've adjusted something on their a/c that makes the users systems go *hit when we use their a/c. It's a pitty because I'd love to have a good flight with one of these beasts but whats the point when you can use another a/c with no problems.I hope someone in posky is reading this, and they manage to sort these problems.P.S. You might notice I have the same type of graphics card as Bob, hmmm, makes one think if that's the cause.......??http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/36133.jpg
October 26, 200322 yr Same here, and sometimes the scenery and plane is untexture, when switchinng to spot plane view. I dont experience this with the A330,767, or 747.

October 26, 200322 yr Then again... it "could" be a driver issue.I'm currently not using the latest drivers, i'm on something like 44.03. I'll d/l Nvidia's latest drivers, and "hopefully" that will fix the problem.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/36133.jpg
October 26, 200322 yr You are all right. There is something wrong with the texture loading problem. I have about 100 planes and this is the only one with the problem. It is a real shame beacuse I love this plane! The VC is GREAT! I hope too that someone from Posky sees this thread and is able to fix it or this plane goes to the recycle bin. Thanks for all the answers to the thread, regards, Bob.
October 26, 200322 yr I believe that POSKY - while I give them my FULL thanks for attention to detail - might be actually overkilling on that effort of quality. Too much quality and intensity in the detail can kill a machines performance. If they would just make their texture sizes smaller then it would be more than pleasing I believe to the eye.I believe they should be able to get the same eye candy in there with s smaller texture size. Heck - I would be MORE than happy to have maybe a few less rivets on the outer hull to endure performance. I go for the overall theme, not precise detail. So I agree with everyone says above when they say - POSKY - if you are reading this - AWESOME job, guys, but please find a way to lower texture size a bit?;-)Knik
October 26, 200322 yr It doesn't fix the problem I have the 52.16s... I'm lost as to what could be going on. My ground textures keep messing up as well.:-jumpyhttp://vatsim.pilotmedia.fi/statusindicato...tor=OD1&a=a.jpg------------------Kenneth WeikTWVA395 / [email protected]
October 27, 200322 yr Hi all,I've just installed the 52.16 drivers for my GF3 Ti 500, and all the problems are now solved. The a/c textures are loading as they should, no bluries, PLUS i've had a MASSIVE performance boost from my old 44.03 drivers - FS is now increadibly smooth and I've had something like a 10 fps boost, now at a constant 18-20 fps while at London Gatwick 2004 (with scenery complexity set to full).I'd definetly recommend these drivers, they sort out a few bugs as well as increasing the overall performance. Now to fly this 757!Cheershttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/36133.jpg
October 27, 200322 yr I had this issue with the PMDG 737NG. It was solved by setting the performance options like below (sorry for Dutch version):http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/45470.jpgThe thing I had been playing around with was the memory usage setting. I had it set to Systemcache when I had the PMDG texture problem. Setting it to Programs solved this.I'm sure you can see I'm running WindowsXP (Pro), so this tip will only affect XP users... ;-)
October 27, 200322 yr I found the other night that my view cycle (pressing "S" key) would keep skipping the VC view (with the "VC" model being used), after flying for some time and switching views often. Also note the delay in loading textures.P4-2.66G1G PC-2100ATI 9800 Pro 128MB latest Omega (leaked Dell beta) drivers (Cat "8.5")WinXP Home SP1Thanks,Bruce. ASEL, Instrument. KBJC, Colorado.
