December 22, 201015 yr Sorry folks, but in 4 years of using FSX, I had never noticed that the aircraft folder name in FSX is different than in FS9 (Airplanes vs Aircraft). Here is a corrected version of the FSX readme installation instructions:QUICKSTART:1. Unpack the zip file to a working directory, keeping the directory structure intact.1A. Rename the \Simobjects\Aircraft folder in the working directory to "Airplanes"2. If you have a previous installation of the TinMouse II, make a copy of the aircraft.cfg file so you can cut-and-paste the fltsim.xx sections in to keep your repaints.3. Copy the file FS2Audio.dll to the Windows \System32 folder, and if using a 64-bit OS, also to the Windows\sysWOW64 folder.4. Copy the file fx_smoke_JT8D.fx from the effects subfolder to the FSX \Effects folder5. Copy the entire B737-200_TM2 subfolder to the FSX \Simobjects\Airplanes folder6. Copy the \Simobjects\Airplanes\fsfsconv\ folder to <your FSX directory>\Simobjects\Airplanes\ 7. Copy the three files in the \sound folder to the FSX\sound folder. These files must be in the fsx\sound\ directory or the panel sounds will not work.8. Copy the Docs folder to the place of your choosing9. If you had a previous installation of the TinMouse II, cut and paste the "fltsim.xx" sections from your saved aircraft.cfg file to the new one.10. Liveries for Continental, Delta, Lufthansa, LAN Cargo, Sudan Air are included. There are five separate models also included. The models are: CHK - Cargo, with hush kit CNK - Cargo, no hush kit PGK - Pax, with gravel kit PHK - Pax, with hush kit PNK - Pax, no gravel or hush kit11. See the TinMouse II V1.30 manual in the Docs folder for details on customizing the panel for engine variants and for metric operation. Panel configs for configurations with the CIVA INS, and the ISG FMS computers are provided. Beginning at page 10, following the readme notes, is a detailed description of each subpanel, the function of the various switches, clickspots and controls, and some discussion of system operation.12. If using a hardware axis for spoiler control, you will need to use FSUIPC to map the hardware axis to PROP PITCH 1 to control spoilers in this panel. See manual for details.13. There is a folder named "TinMouse FSX Panel Configs" in \Simobjects\Airplanes\fsfsconv\panel.B732ADV which contains panel config files for various combinations of the old/new autopilots and the ISG, CIVA, and stock GPS LNAV.At the end you should have this directory structure, plus the files copied into the FSX \Sound and \Effects directory, plus the FS2AUDIO.DLL placed into <your windows directory>\system32 AND <your windows directory>\sysWOW64 for all 64-bit OSes. <your FSX directory> \Simobjects \Airplanes \B737-200_TM2 \fsfsconv \panel.B732ADV Bob Scott | President and CEO, AVSIM Inc ATP Gulfstream II-III-IV-V Sys1 (MSFS20+24/XPlane12+11): AMD 9800X3D, water 2x240mm, MSI MPG X670E Carbon, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, nVidia RTX4090FE Alienware AW3821DW 38" 21:9 GSync, 2x4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2x2TB Samsung 990 SSD, EVGA 1000P2 PSU, 12.9" iPad Pro Thrustmaster TCA Boeing Yoke, TCA Airbus Sidestick, Twin TCA Airbus Throttle quads, PFC Cirrus Pedals, Coolermaster HAF932 case Sys2 (P3Dv5/v4): i9-13900KS, water 2x360mm, ASUS Z790 Hero, 32GB GSkill 7800MHz CAS36, ASUS RTX4090 Samsung 55" JS8500 4K TV@60Hz, 3x 2TB WD SN850X 1x 4TB Crucial P3 M.2 NVME SSD, EVGA 1600T2 PSU Fiber link to Yamaha RX-V467 Home Theater Receiver, Polk/Klipsch 6" bookshelf speakers, Polk 12" subwoofer, 12.9" iPad Pro PFC yoke/throttle quad/pedals with custom Hall sensor retrofit, Thermaltake View 71 case, Stream Deck XL button box Sys3 (DCS/P3Dv4/ATS/ETS): AMD 7800X3D, MSI MPG X870E Carbon, Noctua NH-D15S, 64GB GSkill 6000/30, EVGA RTX3090 Alienware AW3420DW 34" 21:9 GSync, Corsair HX1000i PSU, 4TB Crucial T705 PCIe5 + 2TB Samsung 970Evo Plus, TM TCA Officer Pack, Saitek combat pedals, TM Warthog, TM RS300 FF wheel/pedals, Coolermaster HAF XB case
