December 22, 201015 yr I have been out of Flight Sim for a number of years, and I've recently upgraded fro FS8 to FS9. I'm now slowly removing the Soars and the Airwaves and replacing them with real-world planes and more flight plans. I kind of like to do this manually. I know there are packages out there, but I'd just rather do this the old-fashioned way.I've heard that there are tools out there for working with the AI traffic file. I can edit the file by hand and deal with the TTools compiler, and I'm having no trouble doing it. But, it's time-consuming and kind of tedious. So, what's become available in my long absence? Thanks.
January 12, 201115 yr I use AI Traffic Mover (has its own web site), because of the Project feature. Each airline is a separate set of TTools text files, but the Project combines them all together into one BGL file. Keeps things neat within FS, but it's also easy to change a single airline. You can also use it to write flight plans by hand, using a simple dialog box interface. There are several others that are as good, though.Hope this helps, Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
