If you don't mind spending a bit more, I'd recommend a GTX570 with a 750W+ PSU. Nvidia cards are known to perform a little better with FSX than AMD ones. If you get a new PSU you should look for one that has Japanese capacitors to make sure they don't explode (look up "capacitor plague" on Google), and if you can, with a single 12V rail.

You're also gonna need to upgrade to Windows 7 64-bit so that a GTX570 is usable (The latest NV drivers do not work on XP)
