December 26, 201015 yr Christmas day is a special day for me. It's a day I remember the diversity we have here at Avsim--not just those that celebrate Christmas, but also those who act like they do regardless of the type of faith they have, 365 days a year. I see this diversity by the so many choose their words, display acts of kindness towards other members in the forums, and generally just make these forums a better place to be.Peace to you all, and have a happy and blessed New Year, especially to the volunteers that keep these forums going.John

I wanted to see if I could use it to make an image that would just fit within the Avatar size restrictions--looks better and I was hoping sooner or later someone would ask how I made it. One thing I had in mind when I made Spirapaint was members using it to create graphics for virtual airlines.Regards,John

It IS a nice little toy to play with. Thanks for making it. It sure brought back memories of the Spirograph I had when I was a kid. That was one of my favorite toys, I wished I kept it. But alas, when I went off to college, my brother got a hold of it and destroyed it (he destroyed everything :(). I don't make aircraft textures or graphics, but I'm going to see if I can make up a really nice desktop background with your Spirapaint program though. It also reminds me of something that used to be in the Oregon Museum of Science. In the 1960's, they had on display a 2 pendulum harmonograph with which you could insert a piece of paper and make your own spiral drawing. The spiral drawings were asymmetrical, not like the symmetrical Spirograph, but more free form. I loved it. Thanks for your little program, I can be a kid again.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HarmonographNow I've got to get back to installing FSX on my Christmas present.
