October 29, 200322 yr Nathan,As far as not getting SP1 to install goes, Your running a single user legal copy and not the corporate version correct. The corporate version will not allow for an installation of SP1 without a valid Product ID. With that being said, what issue are you experiencing when you try to install SP1?As far as maybe coming across as a little harsh in my above post it was for 2 reasons. 1: It seems that 90% the time JW never has anything nice to say. Seems to spend a ton of time coming up with really sarcastic comments that help noone. 2: The type of info he posted helps noone and was in no way related to the topic at hand. It is way better to post no Info than the wrong info.If I can help with the SP1 issue let me know.People need to realize that if they practice good computing habits and install ONLY those updates needed for their particular situation Windows will run amazingly well while allowing those people to feel safe while they are on their machines.I have been running XPPro without the SP on all my machines in my house (5 Total) And have never been bitten by a virus nor had any machine I own hacked into. Ohh they try but so far they lose.Bobby
