Don't get a GTX260. It's an old and outdated card. Get a GTX460 which performs a lot better. For the ram, I recommend a 6GB triple channel kit (3x2GB), low latency (CL6 or CL7) with a speed of 1600MHz. I'd stick with well known brands like mushkin, OCZ, Corsair, Kingston etc.

Looks like he's already got the 260 according to his sig. Not a bad card for FSX. Not the absolute best but FSX isn't a huge GPU hog so it will still handle pretty high settings. Rather than an i7 950 and an x58 board with 6GB RAM I'd recommend an 1155 board and an i7 2600k with 8GB RAM. Should be cheaper, faster, and more overclockable.
