January 1, 201115 yr Greetings,I'm searching for comments regarding the RA B60 Duke and normal aircraft performance. Specifically, the CHT (Cylinder Head Temperature)limitation of 225C degree limitation can be problematic to maintain without cowl flaps full open at higher altitudes. The CHT increases with altitude and cruise altitude is typically limited to FL220 or FL200 in order to maintain CHT within limits. I own the actual aircraft POH and have researched "Beech Talk" forums to learn more. I'm curious if others experience the same, or perhaps I have something set incorrectly. Unfortunately, Real Air doesn't have their own forum. Many thanks in advance for any additional information.
January 1, 201115 yr It sounds like you know what you're doing, so this might be redundant advice:MSFS has an un-realistic tie between engine RPM and CHT.. be sure to have the RPMs pulled back. Also, and this is another MSFS bug.. mixture settings don't account for turbo-charging.. ie.. for optimal mixture, you have to lean as though it were normally aspirated (unless RealAir addressed that)
