Problem Installing Scenery in FSX

Featured Replies

Hi, I am a new user and this is my very first post.I received a copy of Flight Simulator X Gold Edition and a Thrustmaster HOTAS for Christmas. This is my first use of a flight simulator and I love it. However I am having a small problem installing new scenery into the game.I have done a little bit of research on how its done by watching various YouTube video's. In these videos they all seem to load scenery into the game the same way, but for me this does not work. When you click OK after choosing the scenery you want to load, the load screen should go away and reveal that the scenery in in the list behind it. When I click OK it opens the scenery file to reveal 2 folders 'Scenery' and 'Texture' even opening these folders there is nothing further for me to select.I knew I was going to have trouble trying to explain my problem so I went to the trouble of making a video that better illustrates my problem. Please click the link below to view it.http://www.youtube.c...h?v=XNTqdy_eds8I would appreciate any assistance you could provide in connection with this problem. Please don't be afraid to tell me if I am doing something stupid, I'm a grown man, I can take it.I know that some of you might want to ask me about about my PC Specs so to save you the trouble here they are:AMD Athlon II X2 250 Processor4.00 GB RAMATI Radeon HD 4800 Series Graphics CardWindows 7 Professional (64-bit)Samsung LE40C530FIW 40" LCD TV Running at 1080p Drooling.gifThrustmaster T-Flight HOTAS X V.2 Hypnotized.gifAgain any assistance you can provide will be gratefully recieved
