Exiting AS6.5 after start.

I like to have my AS with DWC option on. I get more real waeather but then i got some problem with RC. So i fly only maximum aprox. 500 nm. destinations. After downloading the AS6.5 and got the Weather just quit the AS6.5. Couse it writes all data at the beginning and in an hour there will be no major changes ? Is this possible ?

I use AS6.5 (which is for FS9) and set its options to do all the smoothing via FSUIPC which it does correctly. If you need a wide range of weather around your destination use the Forse Weather Destination Zone. I do not have Disable Disable Direct Wind Control checked but do have the automatic Global Weather Toggle turned on. (DWC in FSX always has global weather on).I am experiencing no problems with weather on the way in to destination. So why are you quitting AS65 before destination?I do download the archived weather for the Universal Time (GMT) current day matching the local departure time (converted to GMT) of the flight in FS. FS is not set to system time. This allows the weather snapshot for the correct time of day for the flight as solar effects are what causes various changes in the weather environment. I do not use AS real time downloads.Others have recommended some different values than I use but I'm attaching my AS65 option screen for you to examine.

Hi,If you shut down either program (ASv6.5/ASE) you will lose the weather in FSX after about 10 minutes.

Hi Ronzie, i have flown RC years with my simple desktop PC with onboard sound card and AS6.5 without any problem. 7 months ago started my home cockpit and installed lots of things. Hardware drivers, networking Win7 etc. Mainly the software is the same. FS9, PMDG737, AS6.5 etc. But RC doesn't work as before. It loses contact to aproach, or departure gives me directly to aproach after take-off or getting N/A alarm etc.and these problems are randomly. I am reading the forums looking everwhere and there could be possiblitys. Like poor sound card, not proper installation or DWC conflict with AS6.5. So i am trying every possibility. Thats why i tried this way.I tried to fly Online and have over 1500 hours VATSIM flights. But you are lonely on most ONLINE flights. Airports are empty no controllers. So the AI traffic and Radar Contact is the only solution. Otherwise you land on a huge airport like Munich and there is no one.So i wont give up till Radar Contact works :)Mr, JSkorna, yes you are right on FS9 also loses the data after a while. So AS6.5 sould stay. Thanks for your replys.

It sounds like you might be having performance issues on your client either with its resources or networking. So first update your fsuipc to 3.98 then to 3.989u. Next be sure you have:WideFS 6.78WideClient 6.838New version with enhanced Lua plug-in facilitiesafter updating your FSUIPC.Older versions might have overwritten newer versions during your reinstalls. If RC is running on the client be sure you follow the network procedure for updating its scenery database which is slightly different than when it ran on your FS machine. In this case you directly run makerwys.exe in your host FS folder and then run the scenery rebuild with RC to transfer the new files. I say this because it almost sounds like RC does not know where you are and that could be the database or slow or faulty position reporting over the network. Use the new makerwys version 4.43 installed in your FS folder. On very short flights it is not unusual for departure to hand off to approach. The PMDG is heavy on computer resources. With the addition of networking your host might be slow in communicating.Take it a step at a time. Fly a default aircraft with just RC running and see how it performs. Then repeat with AS65 running. On your client only showtext should be running. In RC options display text and Prerecorded AI chatter should be off to improve performance. On on-board sound card can take extra resources and especially on-board video. A Win 7 host should have at least about 4GB available. I recommend a separate video card with its own RAM 512MB to 1 GB. On your host before updating recheck your registry entries as indicated:--------------------------Get the base FSUIPC version from:http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.htmland then interim update from the modules link on this page:http://forum.simflight.com/forum/142-download-links/FSUIPC now self installs initially based on your registry entry for your FS path. Check that with this free utility:FSX/FS9 Registry Repair Tool (36KB) from http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=library---------------------------If all is running OK then try everything with the PMDG.Now, be sure you ack commands promptly as a non-ack can hang RC.If you describe your setup in more detail some network/cockpit users might be able to assist.Once all this checks out if RC problems still occur then try about a 300 nm flight starting debug before you load a flight plan and when a problem occurs you can alt-tab to RC and quit it to stop the logging. Go into your rc folder and rename it so it will not get overwritten the next time you run debug. I recommend you rename it to something like rcv4010711a.log where 010711 represents the date and the 'a' means the first log on that date. Then you can zip it up and send it in per the instructions pinned at the forum top. But check out your performance and networking first on both PCs.Regarding networking and cockpit informtion check out the FAQ and User Contribution links plus the threads on this forum:http://forum.simflight.com/forum/30-fsuipc-support-pete-dowson-modules/searching first to avoid repetition.

Thanks Ronzie. I tried every possilities. I guees the problem was network. So i installed the RC to main PC on seperate harddisk. I instaled the AS6.5 to second PC and turned DWC on. I made 3 flights with no problem. Everything seems be OK. .
