Ground textures in FS9?

Featured Replies

Howdy all,I need some better ground textures in FS9. I find the night city textures in FS9 to be particularly bland. Can I use the textures I was using in FS2002? Will that kill autogen or have any other funny side-effects? Is it even possible?Thanks,Greghttp://members.rogers.com/gmoffatt/images/ERJ_CRT.jpg

Wehad a fabulous ground texture man called Lennartbut we lost him for good. What a loss!Peter Sydney Australia

FScene by Ruud Faber. Great stuff! But if you like freeware try the new textures named 2004_wood_desert.zip by Marcel Aerni. Get them here: http://library.avsim.net/sendfile.php?DLID=37274. However they don't give you new citytextures :( But Ruud does...;) Rob "Holland&Holland" de Vries http://www.emotipad.com/emoticons/Flying.gif"To go up, pull the stick back. Nothing touches Ruud, although it's not cheap. http://www.fscene.com/Lennarts is here in the library, and it works on FS9..but the desert areas don't so well.

Hey, thanks for the responses. I was using Lennart's excellent textures in 2002 -- I think I'll try them in FS9 and see what I get. I don't fly in the deserts too much :) FSScene does look nice, but it's a bit too much for my wallet.Greghttp://members.rogers.com/gmoffatt/images/ERJ_CRT.jpg
