installing FSX on a different drive that FS9 and W7?

hi , i have just upgrade my system from vista to W7 home premium. iam currently running FS9 on my drive C .which is also my OS drive ... just bought FSX de luxe and i like to install it onto my second drve which is D. which would be the best way to install FSX on the D drive ? anyone has a step by step installation for me or some advice? henry

Excellent idea!on starting the install process, watch for the "CUSTOM INSTALL" button at the beginning. This allows you to select your install location ( like D:\FSX ). If you miss it here, it will install in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator X; this is the default (and worst) location with Windows7. Other than that, follow the normal install process.Boot up FSX. shut downInstall SP1Boot up FSX. shut downInstall SP2. Boot up FSX. shut downDefragstart adding the extras as you need them.Loyd
