February 5, 201115 yr Hi everybody out there, I'm new here an I just wanted to introduce myself and ask a first question.I've checked out the descriptions of the PMDG Manuals of the 747 and 737NGX on their website. I'm a bit confused about the number of pages in both products. While the total content of the Flight Crew Ops Manuals (1+2) + Training Manual + QRH is about 2400 pages in the case of 747, the 737NGX stuff counts about 3500 pages. I've read that this are original manuals? Why are there more pages in 737 manuals than in 747? (1100?) Sorry for this question, but I'm really in serious trouble, I'm not able to decide wether I'll buy the 747 X with the fabulous manuals or wait for the 737NGX and the manuals, as both of these birds are so beautiful. :D I'm new in the scene (have only read much theoretical stuff yet(JAA books)), and now it's time for me to get started. Thanks for your answer, best regards from germanyDavid
February 5, 201115 yr I'm not Tabs/Ryan, but I think it's because the 737NGX includes more models. The 747 is only the 400. You need some different performance pages for each model in the simulation. February 6, 201115 yr Commercial Member Correct, there's a bunch of different versions of the NG all with their own performance data included in those manuals. There's a lot more company options on the NG vs. the 744 too. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
