What went Wrong

What went wrong. After new installation of T/P, WHAT WENT WRONG, which use to be pretty good, but now only a small section has clear images no matter how long i fly I am attaching a picture.... for any suggestion. unfortunately i use service 2, which only give reasonable coverage where i live (Islamabad, Pakistan -- OPRN) Pls. help as i am struggling for last 2 weeks and countless hours Thanks in Advance G.M.Din

Just a friendly bit of advice..........Never post your e-mail address in this, or any forum, anywhere - unless you enjoy receiving spam.The "bad guys" use automated programs to troll forums seeking e-mail addresses which are then passed on to spammers.If you need to be contacted, ask folks to send you a PM (Personal Message) instead.

In your FSX.cfg file, find an entry labeled LOD_radius. The default is 4.5, and judging by your altitude, it looks like that is the issue. Try changing that value. Some suggest an LOD of 6.5, but it really depends on your computer's performance. I use an LOD of 8.5. See if that works for you. Note that if you go into the graphics settings in FSX, it will return the LOD back to 4.5 automatically and you'll have to close FSX, and edit the cfg file again.
