NGX – QRH – Maneuvers – Rejected Takeoff

Featured Replies

Was reviewing the procedure in the manual and need some clarrification on the procedure, in short it states:Close thrust levers, disengae auto throttle & apply manual brakingIf RTO then monitor/ apply manual breakRaise speed brake*Apply the maximum amount of reverse thrust consistent with conditions*Apply maximum reverse thrust consistent with conditionsMy question is with the 2 steps (i have marked with the *) they are identical apart from a couple of words – what is the difference? And why the 2 steps that are the same one after each other? Can anyone clear this for me.Thanks,

Seems like a typo to me. I've got a QRH from 2008 and it only has "Apply the maximum amount of reverse thrust consistent with conditions" listed.

Strange indeed. My QRH (PMDG) has the same typo. By the way, shouldn't all the QRH's be the same? I don't think that PMDG has some sort of a "update" contract with Boeing concerning the FCOM's?I also have a digital copy of the QRH of 2009 and there it only says " Apply maximum reverse thrust consistent with conditions"Daniel Verhaal
