flight control check
In that case just check if controls are "free and easy". By the way, you can turn the option on in the PMDG menu.Best regards,

Question about electrics
Hi,I noticed something I can't explain. Hopefully someone here can! During normal operation the electric panel shows approximately 45Amps on both sides (both engines running, IFDG's feeding bus 1&2).But when I start the APU and using solely APU power for both buses it shows only something like 52Amps.So the question is: Where did ~38Amps go??I'm very curious for the answer!Best regards,

Yaw damper U/A
I also have this issue sometimes. Set the FLT CONTROL B to standby rudder and than back to ON again. It helped in my case.Maybe it is worth sending a ticket.Regards,

please help me!
Hi,Since I have installed FlightSimulator on C:FSX (which is an SSD) but the programdata folder is on D: (which is an HDD) everytime I want to install scenery it will try to locate the scenery.cfg on my C: drive instead of my D: drive. Now I always have to manually add the scenery in FSX itself. Does anyone know how to solve this? It's getting very annoying!!Kind regards,DanielEdit: I have Windows 7 home 64bit

yaw damper
I'm having some trouble with the yaw damper too time from time. What helped me was to turn the yaw damper off, then switch the FLT CONTROL B to OFF and than back to ON. After that the yaw damper will come on again. I think it is some kind of a little bug.Best regards

Yaw damper won't come on
The FLT CONTROL warning refers to the yaw damper so that one is correct.I have to admit that I'm having some trouble with the yaw damper too time from time. What helped me was to turn the yaw damper off, then switch the FLT CONTROL B to OFF and than back to ON. After that the yaw damper will come on again. I think it is some kind of a little bug.Best regards

How to arm G/S, when ILS is not in database?
Good luck with your visuals when the weather is CATII/III (typical @ESSA this time of the year)

Panel state save
I truly hope you are being sarcastic!

Panel state save
I notifed this too. After SP1 also the COM's and IRS selectors are not saved. The developers are saying that it is very difficult to implement because of the complexity. So we have to live with it I guess.

How to arm G/S, when ILS is not in database?
I'm basing it on the FCOM for the 737NG.

How to arm G/S, when ILS is not in database?
If it was always like this, it was always wrong. In the real thing you just have to set the frecuency and the courses.

How to arm G/S, when ILS is not in database?
I must be a bug.FCOM 4.20.16: After setting the localizer frequency and course, pushing the APP switch selects the APP mode. The APP switch illuminates and VOR/LOC and G/S annuciate armed.I will make a ticket. Lets hope it will be fixed with a next update!

Can please somebody of PMDG comment on this?

How to arm G/S, when ILS is not in database?
Hi Bert,I think you misunderstood me. I know the FSX scenery is fine. The ILS of ESSA RNW26 is fine too, I can fly the ILS without any problem except with the APP-mode of the NGX. The G/S won't arm. Only the LOC.

How to arm G/S, when ILS is not in database?
So you are saying you can fly an ILS approach with the autopilot without setting up the ILS in the FMC? In that case, could you please try ESSA RNW26 as well when you have the time for it? The ILS in FSX is working. Like I said, I can fly the approach raw data without any problem. The thing is that G/S won't get armed in the FMA after selecting APP-mode.

How to arm G/S, when ILS is not in database?
But that's the point. That ILS is not in the fmc so I can't select it. How is this in RL, the 737 must be able to fly an ILS without selecting it in the fmc right?

How to arm G/S, when ILS is not in database?
Anyone?

How to arm G/S, when ILS is not in database?
But the problem is that the G/S won't get armed. The LOC will but the G/S won't. Very strange because it is a valid ILS and the G/S will be alive and I can fly it raw data but in no way with the FD's.Try an approach at ESSA RNW26 and you will see what I mean.Kind regards,

I did.

How to arm G/S, when ILS is not in database?
Hi,When an ILS-approach is not in the FMC's database the G/S will not arm (??) after selecting APP mode. I'm not sure this should happen in RL but if so, can somebody explain me how to arm the G/S of an ILS which is not in the database? For example: ESSA RNW26.Kind regards,

Those mysterious CWS buttons
It's called Control Wheel Steering. When activated it will hold the current attitude at the moment you are releasing the yoke. So when you're entering a bank (>6 degrees) and you let the yoke go then it will hold the bank angle for you, like an Airbus. As Kyle said, take a look in the FCOM's, they are fun to read! --> 4.20.8Kind regards,
