December 5, 201114 yr On my flight today, I noticed that the yaw damper was not working. I tried to activate and deactivate it continuously, but to no use!I have no failures active, and the IRS is working fine?? Yours trulyBoaz FraizerCopenhagen, Denmark
December 5, 201114 yr I also have this issue sometimes. Set the FLT CONTROL B to standby rudder and than back to ON again. It helped in my case.Maybe it is worth sending a ticket.Regards, Daniel Verhaal
December 5, 201114 yr Author When I do a recall check I get a FLT CTRL caution, so it is actually noticed by the aircraft.I did not try to fly again after I landed safely.Maybe it's nothing, and if it happens again I will try to do the FLT CONTROL B trick to see if it settles it.A ticket? I don't know if this is a program fault or real life personality of the plane?? Yours trulyBoaz FraizerCopenhagen, Denmark
December 5, 201114 yr Before SP1 there was a problem with the light, if you were turning on the YD when IRS were in alignment, the OFF light did not extinguish (switch did not reset), this making the YD unavaiable until you load again a panel state or a flight. SP1 solved it.I don't think is the same problem as you are talking about the switch that come back to OFF position. If IRS are bot working in NAV mode, flt cont switches are normal, hyd B pressure is present, it must work. If not there is an active failure or something wrong in the installation. Regards Andrea Daviero
