February 13, 201115 yr In the Painting FAQ's at the top of this thread , there are links to various sites that give tutorials on this subject .http://forum.avsim.n...-painting-faqs/ <------- go to question number 3One site that shows a tutorial on painting Carenado aircraft is The Simmers Paintshop which is given in the answers to question number 3 .To give ypu answers here on the forum would take up a lot of time ( which I don't have ) and space wheras a bit of trial and error would help you more .This is how I started painting Carenado's aircraft and have several here on AVSIM < search for John Glanville > and trying to make a paint is the only way to learn , don't forget , you can't break anything , just make a backup of your aircraft.cfg and textures before you start . Another thing , download other Carenado paints and look at what others have done , this includes the readme file which shows you hoe to alter the .cfg when adding a new paint .John Glanville
