February 16, 201115 yr O.K. I have finally figured out how to add scenery after many trial and error attempt and using forums. Now - I have the scenery file in my scenery file. It is above the UT Canada files as directed (so it is at the number 1 slot) I can't find it any where when I go to "go to airport". It is not in the add on section or the regular section. Any help out there? Trying to use "Manitoba Float Planes Bases." Thanks,

Thanks,As you correctly stated, if the file you are talking about is manitobafloatbases.zip by Mike Mann, this package requires UT Canada.I do not have that but did download the file to check it for you.I unzipped it to a temporary folder first and then read and followed the instructions - they are very clear.I then placed a copy of the folder named ManitobaFloatBases (which has a scenery and texture subfolder) in my FSX/Addon scenery folder and then activated (added) it via the Scenery Library dialogue.Using the pdf file as a "guide", I then checked a number of the ICAO codes and they displayed properly (or as best they could without UT installed). Some of the bases are just water landing "strips" and a few do have some scenery objects added. There wer no problems that I could see.You can also use the ready made "flights" he included in the package as a quick way to start at most of them. This is on a FSX with Sp1 and Sp 2 (no Acceleration) setup running on XP.The author has included his contact information in the documentation in case you cannot get the problem resolved yourself.Hope this helps.
