I just picked up a 570 GTX today. I am to cheap for the 580 in case you are wondering.Started tuning it up, I just bumped core, shader and mem to the same as the Super clocked version 797/1594/1950Ran OCCT and started playing w/ fan speeds. Room temp is 20c, under load, max fan setting it topped at 58c after 20 min run. Same test at 50% fan topped at 72c. I messed around with the fan curve in Afterburner and ran a test, peak temp was 62c max, fan speed at 60% and could barely hear it. Seems there are some folks getting 850 core out of this thing and I can see why. Been killing some tanks with the DCS A-10 @ 1920x1200 w/ max game settings (except bushes and civillian traffic)and the only thing smoking are tanks.....................and my Hog but certainly not this GPU.Willy

agreed - congrats on new cardI too have just gone for a 570, and its sublimewas considering a GTX480 (was 40 cheaper) - but decided to go for the 570 - for noise/temp etc etcmine is the MSI OC version - 786 core and 2100 on the memory out of the box :) I've bumped the core up to 830 with a small increase in Volts (only gone to 1.0V)it seems to like FSX :) and everything I throw at itwhats really surprised me is that even at higher % fan speeds the fan is still relatively very quiet - you can just hear "air" rather than fan noise - if that makes sense
