February 20, 201115 yr Hello,at 18:12(UTC), today, at OMDB you can observe a typical problem ASE has, when getting corrupted weather data.ASE METAR: OMDB 201500Z 03008 010V080 CAVOK 23/15 Q101 NOSIGAs You can see, the data of the barometric pressure are corrupted, the last digit is missing. So ASE interprets this data with 23.68 inches / 0800 mb, absolutely low pressure. Real world METAR: OMDB 201600Z 03006KT 350V070 CAVOK 23/15 Q1016 NOSIG.(source:http://www.wunderground.com/Aviation/index.html?query=OMDB)If there is an inflight situation (f.i. East Africa, over Ethopia) with only a few weather stations, and some of them don´t have submitted actual reports, ASE is interpolating the weather depiction. In case one of them submit corrupted data, you will get that low pressure, which will end with a desastre. As I am writing this, a new weather download took place and now everything is ok again.I am reporting this, just in case You might want to know.My best wishesHans-Christianvery satisfied with ASE/FS9.1
