Hello fellow simmers,During a few weeks, I try to find out how exactly Simconnect needs to be installed in order to work properly.I have read through lots of manuals, also that of the SDK itself, but I still fail to get things working (things = gmap from FSWidgets)Both my computers now are full off all kinds of Simconnectfiles, xml, msi, dll, cfg and on many places. Still no connection.Firewall is checked, thats no problem.Workgroups of both computers are the same.I would want to know what files need to be exactly where on the server (FSX pc) and client (GMap) for a correct funtioning of Simconnect.Greetings and thanks in advance.Bram Stikkel

In the Widgets folder there are instructions. Basicly you have to get the IP of the FSX machine (Ipconfig) and add it to the SimConnect.xml in FSX, as well as the same file in Widgets, then it should work
