Hi!Just stumbled across this freeware helicopter available from Hovercontrol.com and have spent the last two hours having a fascinating time with it! This is certainly as good as and better than a lot of payware helicopters (the Area51 Chinook which I recently purchased for example!). It was originally built for FS2002 but an FS9 update is available and it comes in various configurations but the fire-bomber version is certainly entertaining and fully functional. The external model is very good - reasonably detailed and accurate in shape and it comes with a 2D cockpit which is fully functional and, again, as good as many payware 2D cockpits. The VC is rudimentary and non-clickable though. Both internal and external sounds are realistic and the aircraft is easy to fly - I am basically a fixed wing pilot but I had this doing just what I wanted within a short period of time! So if you want something different, give this a go!I have attached some screenshots taken around dusk in the Shannon area.Bill
