Dc3 FSX no instruments

Featured Replies

I have tried and tried to install the DC-3 in my new computer with no luck. Have win 7. Installed FS2004 on computer and DC-3 works fine. FSX is working fine as well. Tried copying from 2004 to FSX. Tried installing into a folder and moving it. Tried installing directly to FSX. I get only the speery and gps, all other instruments are blank, missing. I tried putting gauges into panel file too. gauges show in the gauge file but I cant open it. Is there something else I can try.

Grab the FSX Basic Compatibility Upgrade from our Free Stuff Pages and carefully follow the illustrated instructions included with it. If you use Service Pack 2 or Acceleration, get the Transparency Fix there, too. If you prefer an easy option with no headaches or fooling around with files, you can purchase the newest version of the package with an FSX installer from the museum store. If you choose the latter option, thanks for the donation, which the museum will certainly put to good use.

Purchased the new FSX download version and installed. Still no luck. The side panels and upper radio starter panel work. I have no main gauges on any of the panels. HELP.....

Thegauges that do show up are workable only from the keyboard. I tried installing the AHI from the default DC3. Gauge shows up on VC, just out of position. Running Windows 7 home primium.MAAM Speery is clickable on VC. The MAAM_R4D gauge pack just will not work for me.

Read down thru postings more. Found one for the TBM. I renamed the MAAM_R4D to just R4D. I then went into the panel config file and changed one section of the vc panels gauges list to R4D(gauge10=R4D!ASI etc.....)Started up FSX and gauges now show up working. So question is why doen't my FSX like the MAAM_R4D gauge name.
