Radeon 9700 pro problems...

Featured Replies

Hello guys,I've got some problems with my Radeon 9700pro 128mb card.I can't get the anti-aliasing to work. I'm using FS2002pro with all sliders to max. The system I'm using is a P IV 3,06GHz with 512MB RD RAM.Anyone happens to know what's wrong?

Which version of the Catalyst drivers are you running? Also, have you checked in the display control panel to make sure your anti-aliasing isn't disabled? That was my first thought when I read your post.

Yes, anti-aliasing is not disabled, I've checked it a thousand times :( About th drivers, they're not the newest, I'll try to d/l the newest, thank you... :)

Hi Daniel,You'll probably have to re-install the drivers again. It's happened to me before. I think what happens is, the newer installation of drivers doesn't completely copy over the older ones and conflicts with the newer ones. Re-intalling solved my problems with it.Allan

Do you have AA unchecked in the sim? It should be unchecked in the sim since you have it checked in the Control Panel. As mentioned, re-installing the drivers might be the ticket. There is an uninstaller included with Catalyst 3.8's and 3.9's found here...C:Program FilesATI TechnologiesUninstallAllAtiCimUn.exeYou might want to run that, perhaps while in 'Safe Mode', after uninstalling the drivers using the Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel, then install the 3.9's.Good Luck,Jim

Make sure you use your ATI control panel to set the FSAA not FS2004.Then make sure you turn it all off FSAA totally then turn it back on.Hope that helps
