Hi everyone,Yesterday I visited a small airshow at an ex. air force base in Eskilstuna, around 120km from where I live. The main attractions were displays by SAAB JAS 39 Gripen, J32 Lansen, C-130 Hercules and the Bo105 Helicopter, all courtesy of the Swedish Airforce/Army.Here are some photos, enjoy! Hello guys,A while back I asked for some charter flightplans out of Stockholm, now that the charter season has started more seriously, I thought I'd ask again.So, the airport is Stockholm Arlanda (ESSA)The airlines I have in mind are:Britannia Nordic (BLX)Novair (NVR)MyTravel AS (VKG)Freebird (FHY)Destinations could be Antalya, Dalaman, anywhere in Greece, Spain, Canary Islands, Madeira, Faro...Of course I don't need flightplans for every destination or airline, anyone would do! :)

Thanks for the nice words everyone! Feels great right now :DTravis, they used to do so in order for the student to practise recognizing the different flight attitudes by looking outside, and not so much at the instruments. Actually I think it paid off :)

Yesterday I had my PPL checkride/skillcheck. After 1,5 hours of flying along a track line, making some pauses in the navigation by doing some turns and stalls etc, and finishing with 4 different landings (ordinary, flapless, short field and power off), I got my temporary private pilot licence! :D This means I'm now officially a pilot :-hah Also means the end of my 2 years living, studying and flying in Arvidsjaur is close, which feels both good and bad (Good = not living 100km south of the arctic circle, with snow almost half of the year, and -20C for weeks... Also will be nice to come home and live with my family and friends at home again. Bad = No more free flying, lots of friends I will never see again, and some I will only see once in a while...)For those who don't know, I am studying at an aviation highschool, where you besides ordinary school, get a commercial pilot education paid for. However I opted to go for a PPL to have more time for the ordinary school studies. The school is located in Arvidsjaur, 1000km north of Stockholm where I normally live. And in less than one month I will graduate and move back home.I've decided to celebrate earning my PPL, and also finishing school up here, by posting some photos of my time flying, giving you guys an impression of what it's been like.
