March 27, 201115 yr Hi guys and girls,Just got a quick question regarding FS scenery that I hope someone may be able to answer in simple terms (no PHd here). When it comes to scenery, what does downloading mesh do? Does it make mountains, cliffs, deserts, etc more defined as they would be in the real world, or something entirely different? April 2, 201115 yr Think of the scenery mesh as a coordinate grid, each point is spaced at your set mesh distance and is coupled with a height marker. So a tighter mesh will provide more detailed terrain. Eric Vander Pilot and Controller Boston Virtual ATC KATL - The plural form of cow. KORD - Something you put in a power socket. April 2, 201115 yr I'm also wondering the same thing. I'm planning on getting FSGlobal 2010 for FS9 and was wondering about the performance impact. Also, how common is that airport plateau problem? Are fixes available at least for the major third-party airports like FlyTampa, FSDT, etc.?-Al
