FSX sim1.dll tried to use memory which was not allocated. There is no known fix for this problem but since you were in a multiplayer session, I would suspect an issue with simconnect. I think it could also be caused by too many processes occurring at the same time. Possible solutions: do a repair of fsx by inserting the fsx disk and selecting repair. Make sure you repair SP1/SP2 and/or Acceleration. When you do the repair, make sure UAC and any antivirus program is disabled during the process.Best regards,Jim

I'm probably due for an FSX reinstall, so I might do that, but if the repair works fine, I'll leave it at that.By the way, is there anything I should do with my add-ons before doing the repair? I have done lots of mods to the main texture folder and have a lot of scenery and aircraft add-ons. Will these be affected? Brandon Filer
April 3, 201115 yr If you do a repair, it will make another fsx folder, creating a new one and you can transfer stuff from the old one to the new one. But move the old FSX to a differet area first.

In that case, yes, the default directory will be made. You do not need to remove or reinstall addons.Best regards,Jim
