I've just upgraded from a Geforce4 440MX 64MB to a Radeon 9600 Pro 128MB. Is it my imagination or are the virtual cockpits clearer. I seem to remember that some parts looked quite blurry. Does a better graphicd card give you better detail in vc's - or am I cracking up! :)

Entirely possible that your display is clearer...Radeons are well known for their image quality. I LOVE my 9700 :-)You should get some good results from your 9600 Pro, and not just in FS2004.... ;-)I would suggest having a look at places like the forums at www.rage3d.com if you're new to ATI cards...you'll find loads of 'hints 'n tips', and driver advice.....I don't know which version of the Catalist drivers came with your card, and there seems to be much heated debate over the quality of the latest two releases....I stayed with the CAT 3.4 drivers, as they are fast, stable, and have great image quality!Enjoy!
