ATI 9800 XP (or Pro) settings for FS2K4

Featured Replies

Ok, to save me 10 years worth of tweeking, does anyone have the 256 Meg versions of these cards that has already gone through tweeking and can suggest some working settings that don't have nasty flashings things. This is my very first ATI card (been a happy nVidia guy for a long time) so be gentle. So far, I am not particularly pleased with the amount of mode switching it does to my monitor.Your comments here in the forum are directly related to why I bought the card so don't be hiding now.

Nothing to tweak. Load the Catalyst 3.9 drivers, set the FSAA to 6X, the AF to 16X, and the texture buttons to Quality. The key is the driver version. You have to run the 3.9's.Doug
