I am not sure that this will help but here is what happens to me using FPS Limiter 0.2 in FSX using Win7. If I have a "Gadget" running on the desktop called "All CPU Meter" (monitors the resource usage) and then start FPS Limiter which in turn launches FSX then a couple of anomalies occur. One is that the frame rates jump from the setting of 20fps in the batch file to 30fps and also the frame rate is then displayed on the upper left corner of the FSX screen which is also not set in the batch file. If I close the "Gadget” including the CPU "Core Temp" function first then FSX Limiter runs normally. You might be having something that is doing the same thing thats running while starting FSX Limiter. Just a thought. fisheye
