April 15, 201115 yr Hi,in the old ASV there was an option, that the programm writes the weather data into the "world-wide-weather" from the FS9.In my flights with FS9 and ASE there is no weather changing over the seas.I knew, there are no weatherstations over the ocean, but what is with "world-Wide-Weather" option with ASE and FS9.Dis ASE not use this?thanks,Alti
April 15, 201115 yr Hi,The stations are automatically added from ASE to FS9 so yes you should get some changing of the weather.
April 16, 201115 yr Author Hi Jim,thank you for answer.does my slider for local suppression range wich is set to 200 miles, supress the changes for the "world wide weather" ?in my fs9, when i am flying from the coast away so after 100 to 200 miles, then i did have no changes in clouds.the winds did change, but the clouds are always the same, until i am reaching a next weatherstation.wich setting should i use for flight over the ocean?do you have any tips for me?thanksAlti
April 16, 201115 yr Hi,No, suppression has no affect here. The settings you use over land are the same as as over the sea.100-200 miles is not too far for no weather changes.
