CTD issue

Featured Replies

Hi all,I must report you that I've got a problem with the MD-11 for FS9. Everytime I take off with normal T/O config I get a crash to desktop about 1 minute after T/O. On the screen appears an error message, saying the following:Problemereignisname: APPCRASH Anwendungsname: fs9.exe Anwendungsversion: 9.1.0.40901 Anwendungszeitstempel: 4135a208 Fehlermodulname: PMDG_MD11.GAU <- (the file which causes the ctd) Fehlermodulversion: 10.0.61355.62 Fehlermodulzeitstempel: 49b7d862 Ausnahmecode: c0000005 Ausnahmeoffset: 00126af1 Betriebsystemversion: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 Gebietsschema-ID: 1031Sorry, this is now in german, but I found a lot of topics which are similar to mine, just with another file, e.g. pmdg_md-11.dllI searched around the forum a few times now but as said above all similar entries were about other files which caused the ctd.Any help would be fully appreciated, I'm getting more and more confused with this issue...Niklas

That's a very nondescript error - seeing the gauge listed there actually doesn't mean that it *caused* the crash, it just means that was in memory when the crash occured - something else absolutely can trigger that. There's many people using the MD-11 without a crash 1 minute after takeoff, we'd certainly know if there was a widespread issue like this stemming from the plane's code itself. Do you have any further details on how this happens? Is it every flight or just a specific route? Any other addons running? Is the system overclocked?
