Big Performance DROP after upgrading Graphics Card

A FPS limiter is not required for smooth play ...I use the ENB light bloom utility with no motion issues (have to make sure your stuff is dialed in, though). It's probably a good idea to re-compile the shader file anytime you make a significant change to your video settings. Other games will do this for you automatically, with FSX you will have to manually do this. Instructions: shader <----see post #17-Ken Carlin

Yeah,i tested the external limiter and that gave me a lot of stuttering. Limiting the FPS in FSX to 63 FPS works great after a little config tweaking.By the way:Is there another external limiter than that one available via venetubos page? Thanks so far!Tom

Indeed - when I went from my old 260 to the 570, I had tons of problems until I clean installed Win7 from scratch - it sucks to have to do it but it definitely fixed my problem.
For what it's worth, I did this same upgrade path and only had to install new drivers. So, your mileage may vary.-stefan
