I mentioned to a friend of mine that FSX was written in C++ and he asked if there is a plugin API or an SDK. What is the correct answer? ANYONE!Alexander Bronson Owen

There are two basic ways to interface with FSX - SimConnect and FSUIPC. I sort of doubt FSX is entirely written in C++ too - a lot of game engines have core parts written in Assembly because it's so much faster.

Hi Ryan. Thanks for your reply. As a commercial member of PMDG, can you give me ball-park figures for the number of 747-400X, 737NGX and MD-11 simulations you have sold. I have an idea that you might find interesting. Alexander Bronson Owen

Absolutely not. That's private information we do not share with the public.

Why do you keep quoting Ryan?
I have never used this forum and was putting my reply in the upper space instead of clicking "Add Reply " first. Your info on the SDK is just what I wanted to know. Thanks.Alexander Bronson Owen
