Hello, Most times when I select the MD11 aircraft type from FSX start up it causes FSX to freeze and I am not able to unfreeze it with out restarting. I have even tried to select another aircraft then select the MD11 and had the same results. Sometimes when I do finally get it up and I am in flight it will also freeze for no reason when I select something else like MCDU mode. I have my hands in the air. Please help me with this problem.Bob

Check this post out..It should help, Especially the HIGHMEMFIX=1 part. DO you have a 32 bit system?Also, Submit a help ticket they are always fast to respond.

I agree with Travis, you should probably request support from PMDG.

does the screen say anythinglike " Not responding"if it does close the window, then click on " wait for fsx to respond"usually goes back to normal in a few minutes.this happens to me once or twice a weekand always comes back to normalnick berardi

i have done that but the fsx wont come ALIVE.. only to restart the system... it cannot be turn off from task manager too... it will say no responding... my pmdg 747 works fine .. the only problem is with the pmdg md 11. . . i think the pmdg_md11.dll cannot be able to load... any help in this???>> thank u guys

Have you tried contacting PMDG for support? Also please sing posts with first and last names per forum rules so that we know how to address you.
