Does anyone know how the Change of weather happens when you select from none to any of the other settings as far as how it is generated? What I would hope for would be that someday we could download real wx and all metar's would be downloaded then the areas between would smooth them all together and the changing wx would be based on TAF's inwhich the downloaded wx would changing into the TAF wx as informed on the report. I know you can keep downloadeing the wx every 15min which is nice but seems to put a load on the system during heavy flights with traffic and airports.NP

Hi,Dynamic changes in FS are made based on computations of conditions and trends in pressure, temperature, stability and precipitation. It essentially is using the available data to predict the future.
