December 3, 200322 yr I have the Microsoft Sidewinder Precision 2 joystick and this weekend my new computer will be here and I was going to install the joystick on the new computer, but I can not find the installation CD that came with the joystick. Is there a way to install the joystick without the CD? Or do I have to buy a new joystick?
December 3, 200322 yr Hi, If your OS is XP I think that it comes with the drivers installed so you just have to plug it and it will be recognised. If not try to do a Windows Update and it will probably find a set of drivers then.Kind regards,
December 3, 200322 yr I can verify this. An up-to-date installation of WindowsXP, either Home or Pro, will have no problem self-installing this joystick.sjKEWR
