Can anyone recommend a good Flight Simmers Magazine... I hear there are a few out there that I could subscribe to. If there are any UK ones, that would be good... but I'm not really too bothered as long as it's a good mag.Cheers,SImon.

I picked up a copy of PC Pilot the other day and it's pretty good. Looks like it's published in the UK. There is also Computer Pilot that is good and is a monthly.

Hi Simon,Computer Pilot Magazine is one of the very best, now with a monthly subscription. For what you get it is also the cheapest. Since I am a contributor, I am biased of course ;-)Have a look at their website to get an idea of the contents : www.computerpilot.comIt's Australian/American and English language.Second best is PC Pilot, a UK mag, which costs almost the same but is a bi-monthly edition.Kind regards,Francois :-outta Francois :-wave

"At home in the wild"[link:avsim.com/alaska/alaska_052.htm|Don's Alaskan Bush Charters]"Beavers Lead the Way"[link:www.avsim.com/vfr_center/mainpages/vfr_flights_main_page.htm]VFR Flight Center]"Looking Good Outside"

http://avsim.com/hangar/air/bfu/logo70.gifhttp://www.fssupport.com/images/moose2.gif

________________________Francois A. Not sure about the second best comment, personally. I've subscribed to PCPilot now for two years and it's great (IMHO). Not only does it provide a CD each issue with some of the best freeware and some of the larger commercial/shareware patches, but it's a UK born-&-bred publication. I had (long-time ago) subscribed to the aforementioned US/Aus Eng-language publication, but didn't think much of it (again, IMHO).BTW, when you subscribe to PCPilot, they'll send you the current issue free. If, after perusing the current issue, you feel that it's not for you - then you can cancel you subscription and lose nothing (well, actually you gain, 'cos you keep the current issue!). So... if you actually already own the current issue, you'd be better off waiting until the next one before subscribing.Cheers,Paul

Well, I guess we are! :-) Some more than others - of course - since you are a contributor to one mag, and I am but a humble reader of the other. Don't take it personally Francois - you have more than proved your contribution in these forums my friend and I respect you for that.Cheers,Paul

> Don't take it personally >I never do Paul, to me this is a community... one in which we can have different opinions but where we are all trying to enjoy aviation in some form or the other and helping each other to do so. :-)As to the original question: buy one copy of each and check for yourself ;-) !!! :-outta Francois :-wave_______________________Francois A.
