May 23, 201115 yr I can't get the jet to move, in this mission. Can someone tell me if it's a defect in the game, or have I overlooked something?(engines remain at idle)
May 23, 201115 yr Hold down ctrl+E untill you hear the first engine spool up, now it's been a long time since I flew that ratther entertaining mission, so I don't remember if engine 2 gets fired up too or if you have to hold ctrl+E again. Try it out.Bjorn "I´ll rather be down here wishing I was up there than be up there wishing I was down here"

May 23, 201115 yr You´re very welcome! I like that mission, tried it again now thanks to you dave1812, one of the first I flew, awesome! It´s a bit difficult to start the engines though, maybe hit Ctrl+E again after the first engine fire up?

I have been randomly trying various missions, and will be getting back to that one shortly. Little things like turning off speed control for the Corkscrew mission had me scratching my head for a while. I turned off FD. though autopilot OFF would allow the speed control to be deactivated via a click on the switch, but it stayed lit up green so i couldn't slow the engines. still not sure how I managed to get it to work, because after restarting the mission about 4-5 times, i was able to toggle it OFF, whereas other times it stayed ON. I'm at a loss to distinguish having done anything differently.
