May 25, 201115 yr When I set visability to 40 km there is a very nice ground haze up to around 9000 feet which makes everything look realistic. Then when I get over the cumulous clouds the haze disappears and the ground looks too clear. Isn't this unrealistic? Is it just a problem with FSX or can I change a setting to keep the limited visabiltiy even at higher altitudes? Thanks!

Thanks!A couple of things you can do and as you suspect, simply changing the depth is the easiest so try setting 30 or 40 miles upto say 50,000ft.The other is to use a combination of visibilty and cirus cloud which does a good job when trying to set misty or foggy weather i.e. set visibility to 1 mile with a depth of say 500ft AND a cirus 8/8 layer from 0 to 500ft as well. Obviously those heights need changing to reflect the alt of the airport! Cheers Paul Golding
