Was very close to the fatal Thunderbirds diamond crash of the 1980s.
May 27, 201115 yr Wow. Thanks for that. That was too close for the team and definitely below their minimums. :( ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
June 14, 201114 yr Wow. Thanks for that. That was too close for the team and definitely below their minimums. :(We all make mistakes, but the near fatal ones are inexcuseable. Hopefully, The Angels can find a replacement. The Top Gun school would be a good start. "Caution is the elder brother of wisdom"
June 14, 201114 yr Looks like a near death experience to me.The closest I've ever been to the Bug is via FSX Acceleration, but I would suppose they have minimums and procedures to guarantee the safety of their airshows. Wouldn't the loop, for example, require minimum AGL, a particular KIAS and aminimum Gs to pull? (Or perhaps the Gs are variable when an effort is made to round-out the loops...) And if so, how does an easy aerobatic manouver like the loop go so wrong?Just askin'... Cheers,- jahman.
