May 30, 201115 yr How do I get an autopilot from another aircraft to replace the one in the other aircraft? I know it can be done. I've edited the panels, I can get the autopilot up, but I can't get it to engage. I've looked for the obvious things, but can't work it out.Any suggestions? Thanks.
June 22, 201114 yr 1) activating autopilot in aircraft.cfgchanged the entry in the aircraft.cfg of the plane where you want it to workopen aircraft.cfg with notepad and scroll down till you get autopilot section[autopilot]autopilot_available=0 the entry autopilot_available must be changed from 0 to 1after change it should like like this[autopilot]autopilot_available=1 NB: If the [autopilot] section is not in the aircraft.cfg file, then you need to add the complete autpilot section.

When I select it, I get the sound that occurs when the AP would be disconnected.

Very odd.
