Autopilot panel and gauge

Featured Replies

How do I get an autopilot from another aircraft to replace the one in the other aircraft? I know it can be done. I've edited the panels, I can get the autopilot up, but I can't get it to engage. I've looked for the obvious things, but can't work it out.Any suggestions? Thanks.

1) activating autopilot in aircraft.cfgchanged the entry in the aircraft.cfg of the plane where you want it to workopen aircraft.cfg with notepad and scroll down till you get autopilot section[autopilot]autopilot_available=0 the entry autopilot_available must be changed from 0 to 1after change it should like like this[autopilot]autopilot_available=1 NB: If the [autopilot] section is not in the aircraft.cfg file, then you need to add the complete autpilot section.

Yeah I did all that, the panel shows, but doesn't do anything. When I select it, I get the sound that occurs when the AP would be disconnected.

This is a strange one for us. As soon as I select to engage the AP, it disconnects.

It's very odd that it only happens when I want to swap out one AP for another. Very odd.
