What is the normal setting for the Bank Angle Limit Selector? Is AUTO the default setting? I understand that the setting cannot override FMC computed turns, but wonder what the setting is when non-FMC flight/manual activity is happening?Thanks,Paul KuhnCurrently KSTL

Paul,The default position is indeed auto. It escapes me right now but I believe that it reduces the max bank angle as you climb higher.The limiter has no bearing on manual flight, you can fly whatever angle of bank you need to in that circumstance (although obviously 30 degrees or more is going to cause issues!)
