I am trying to uninstall FSX Standard so I can install a new Gold Edition I just purchased. I went to the Programs folder in the control panel,and highlighted the MSFS line and clicked on "uninstall" but nothing happened.Complete silence for 5 minutes. I am running W/Vista 64 Home with FSX on C/Programs(x86). The only add-ons are REX;UTX;GEX;FS Discover and Scenery Tech. I have totally misplaced the original disc which the Standard Edition came on,which is why I purchased the Gold.I hope this will be an easy task and that I'm simply overlooking something.Thanks for any help. I do have UAC turned off,and I do have Admin priviledge.Skip d W/Vista Home Premium 64;q6600;688gb hd;4gb ram;Dell 19"
