Asus P67/Z68 Overclocking

Featured Replies

Would anybody be interested in posting screen shots of their BIOS settings? Things are done a bit differently with Asus than Gigabyte and I'm reading through a couple guides to get started. I would be interested to see what settings you guys are actually using, though. All I need is the "AI Tweaker" menu and sub-menu settings.I'm still trying to get my head around this offset mode...

Dazz does a good job of breaking down the Vcore offset hereOffset in a nutshell:You shouldn't have to stray too far up (+) or down (-) from the vid. I'd start with a neutral offset. If you need more volts, start working your way up in small increments ie +.005; move down (negative)if your working toward reducing volts from the vid for the give cpu clock.Oh, and a word of caution: It's always a good idea when playing with the offset that you verify (in bios-after reboot) that your base clock isn't using some stupid cpu killing voltage.BTW, I'm using 50x100.1 at -.010 offset
