dsound.dll is the main DirectX sound library.Try installing/reinstalling the latest DirectX runtimes here:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3&displaylang=en

Hi,thanks for the reply. After downloading I tried to install. Result: this version or equal version is already installed. FSX still shuts down.Maybe I'll have to reinstall FSX and all the rest.Regards.Eddy Crequie
