CTD on loading SIDs

Featured Replies

I have the Mega Airport Lisbon X scenery installed, and everytime I try to load a SID or a STAR on the FMC of the MD11 I get a CTD huh.gif I also have the AES active for Lisbon, but I don't believe that's part of the issue since I believe the same thing has happened before with the same airport, but I thought it was another issue. Also, on departure from CDG, again with the Aerosoft scenery, when I loaded up the STARS, not even the runways were available to select from. I'm going to try to upload AIRAC and see if it helps, but in the meanwhile, does anyone has any idea of what might be causing this? Sorry if it's a known issue, but a quick search revealed nothing. CheersLuís Raimundo

Hi Luís,Possibly this is an issue with the SIDSTAR files in each case. For LPPT, does the CTD ONLY happen when choosing SIDs or STARs at Lisbon? As for LFPG, if you're unable to see any information, then that suggests the SIDSTAR file might be missing some key data.Under your FSX installation, find the PMDG folder, then look for the SIDSTARS folder in there, open it and verify that you have LPPT.txt and LFPG.txt in there.Let us know how you get on and we'll try some problem solving from there.
